WHAT IS DUBNASTY?
|

When he came out of retirement in the March of 2009, the Internet rapper known as DubNasty was a featured subject of blogs, video sites, and television shows. Releasing a tandem of X-Rated viral rap videos as well as the free “Robot Party EP” for your listening pleasure. The Internet was never the same.
WHY IS DUBNASTY?
The video “Robot Party” was an interesting tale in itself. Originally posted on March 12, 2009 and within eleven days rated #3 Internet Video on G4’s “Attack of the Show” (Monday, March 23, 2009) this controversial DubNasty Internet hit was banned from YouTube.com for 6 months (Banned Tuesday, March 24, 2009) for simply having a robot boob. As a “Red Flagged” member of the YouTube users community DubNasty has suffered from much unfair censorship and persecution as a result.
|
In response to this persecution DubNasty was forced to come out of retirement as a rapper, and dubnasty.com was formed as an initiative to push the boundaries on Internet censorship and keep the American dream of one million Internet hits alive. |
DubNasty did not hesitate to drop the follow up companion video:
“The Konami Code (99 Lives and a Power Glove)” which was able to gain as much success as its predecessor but this time with in a matter of only five days. IGN.com asked to feature the video in their “Best of the Web” section and the video was even featured on USAToday.com.
|
You may recognize his videos from being featured on Geekologie.com, FunnyOrDie.com, CollegeHumor.com, GorillaMask, ToplessRobot, ebaums world, I-Aam-bored.com or even bootlegged.
DubNasty has spent the remainder of 2009 touring the U.S. promoting his Web site as well as recording tracks for his forthcoming full length album entitled “ECKTOPLAZM“ which is scheduled for a release in Spring of 2010.
